ELT 310# Melt Extracted Stainless Steel Fiber reinforce monolithic refractories against thermal and mechanical shock by reducing cracking and spalling susceptibility. The fibers can be used in refractory under conditions of:

1. High thermal cycling
2. Continuous fibre soaking temperature up to 1200ºC in refractory
3. High mechanical shock
4. High temperature corrosive atmospheres
