Silane S570 is methacryloxy functional silanecoupling agent which can be used to improve physical electrical properties of glass reinforced mineral filled thermosetting resin,especially those curing via free-radical mechanism in filled reinforced thermoplastic polymers, including polyolefins thermoplastic polyurethanes.
1.Significantly can improve composite strength when composite is reinforced with fiberglass roving sized with a typical polyester-compatible formulation. These formulations normally incorporate silanes,lubricants,film-forming resins and antistatic agents.
2.May be copolymerized with methacrylate monomers or acrylate and vinyl acetate to prepare silylated polymers,that are moisture-curable. These silylated polymer may be used in adhesives,coatings and sealants to provide superior adhesion and durability.
3.Can enhance wet electrical properties of many mineral-filled composites,such as polyvinyl chloride and crosslinked polyethylene.
4.Can enhance strength performance,both initially and after wet-conditioning,of cured polyester resin composites filled with silica,silicates,glass and many metal oxides.
1.Silane S570 can be used as glass fiber soakage agent. Silane S570 can be used in the treatment of glass fiber.It can contain filmerformer,anlistatig,lubricant,silane coupling agent and water etc. The concentration of silanes should be 0.3%-0.5%.
2.Silane S570 can be used in filler treatment. Silane S570 can improve mechanical strength of polyester composite materials made from filling white carbon black,glass,silicate and metal oxide in either dry or wet state,for instance,crosslinked polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride.
3.Silane S570 can be used as adhesive and coating. Silane S570 can be applied in acrylic resin and polyester adhesive in the purpose of improving its water resistance and adhesion stress with inorganic material,and lowering its solidification value.
4.Silane S570 can be used in electrical wire and cable. Silane S570 can improve mechanical and electrical performance in wet state,when used in electrical wire and calbe.Silane S570 can dramatically better consumption factor,inductance and capacitive reactance of EPM and EPDM systems crossed linked by peroxide and filled with agil,when it is applied in argil. Silane S570 results 2.5 times better than vinyl silane with same dosage.
