Dimethyl silicone oil are used as: 1.Thermostatic fluids (-50℃ to +200℃) 2.Anti-blotting products for photocopying machines 3.Thinning and plastifying agents for RTV’s and silicone sealants 4.Raw material for Antifoam 5.Lubricating in maintenance products (polishes, wax polishes, floor and furniture polishes, etc.) 6.Paint additives (anti-cratering,anti-floating/flooding and anti-scratching effects, etc.) 7.Water repellent trestment: of powders (for paints and plastics) / of fibres: glass fibres 8.Release agents (mould release of plastics and metal castings) 9.Lubricants (lubrication of elastomers or plastics on metal) 10.Surfactants for styrene-butadiene foam 11.HCR application to reduce hardness
Advantages:
Dimethyl silicone oil has the following properties: 1.Low surface tension 2.High compressibility 3.Good resistance to high and low temperature 4.Good combustion resistance 5.Absence of aging upon exposure to atmospheric agents 6.Good oxidation resistance 7.Little change in viscosity with temperature 8.Good resistance to high and prolonged shear stress
