Description
ELT-WAVE is made of 100% virgin polymer and it is produced through the process of extruding, stretching, cutting and packing.ELT-WAVE is a Structural macro synthetic fiber engineered for use as an alternate to steel fibers and welded wire mesh for precast concrete and shotcrete reinforcement applications. .
ELT-Wave fibers comply with ASTM C1116, Standard Specification for Fiber Reinforced Concrete and Shotcrete, and are specifically used to improve impact, shatter and abrasion resistance, to increase fatigue resistance, to increase toughness of concrete and provide long term durability of concrete and cement based building products. Dosage rates will vary depending upon the reinforcing requirements and can range typically from 2 to 3kg/m³.
Functions
â—† Provides good impact,fatigue,shrinkage control and ductility in all grade concretes.
â—† Cost saving,Is easier to use,to disperse and safe to handle.
â—† Can be used in highly corrosive circumstance.
â—† The surface has been embossed,which greatly improves the cohesive force between fibres and concrete,and also boosts shrinkage resistance and crack resistance.
â—† The toughness of macro synthetic fibre is less stronger than steel fibre. But test has shown slabs on grade and pre-cast concrete predominately require a dosage rate of between 25kg-40kg of steel fibers per cubic meter, in comparison,using between 2kg-6kg of macro synthetic fibre per cubic meter of concrete. Synthetic fibers achieve greater strength and ductility in the matrix
